This gold leaf mirror provides the perfect old-world warmth to the space and the bright green globe adds a touch of whimsy. My mom’s secretary desk is a perfect fit for this little nook, and I layered on a few new accessories to tie it into the rest of the room design. This cute table lamp is from Grace Mitchell’s new collection with At Home and I the classic shape! I paired it with a small faux boxwood for some evergreen to last through the winter. I added in a skeleton on the top shelf for some Halloween fun! This side table with wicker caning was an instant favorite and I love how it provides storage for our DVD collection with the addition of a basket below. I usually don’t do much decorating for Halloween, but I couldn’t resist adding in some fun seasonal pieces from At Home’s huge selection – the prices were too good to resist! I was able to deck the space out with a fresh new look without breaking the bank thanks to At Home’s fall decor event and I’m excited to share all the details below. To complement the beige sectional (armless sofa + chaise) and blue barrel chairs, I worked in shades of green with warm gold and neutral textures to warm the space up. This past spring we picked out all the furniture for my mom’s loft media room in the Westside Townhouse from At Home, but the space didn’t really come together until I sought out the right accessories from the store this fall to give it a cohesive color palette perfect for transitioning the room into the cooler months ahead. Thank you for supporting the brands that keep Thou Swell running! This post is sponsored by At Home, but all text, images, and opinions are all my own.
